Four biomes confirmed for Subnautica 2

Four distinct biomes have been confirmed through developer communications ahead of the May 2026 Early Access launch.

Confirmed biomes

• —Sparse Plains
• —Graveyard
• —Thermal Spires
• —Plateaus

The Sparse Plains is home to the Collector Leviathan and sits at extreme range from the starting zone. The Thermal Spires features towering hydrothermal formations at depth.

Resource lists and creature rosters for each biome will be populated as Early Access data becomes available.
